In 2011 I finally started my blog en above you'll find some of my outfitpictures from 2011. In 2012 a lot more will follow!

This evening we will be eating and laughing with friends, nothing special but special enough for me! For you, have a great New Years Eve and a even greater 2012! See you next year!

Christmas outfit. On Boxing day, my boyfriend and I like to go out for dinner with friends and have a little party afterwards. And so we did this year. I chose a new dress, bought in Prague, and also a new bought pair of shoes. The dress has little sequins over it, which makes it perfect for the holidays. We ended up having a great party... :)

What were you wearing during Christmas?

New Coat. My boyfriend and I just returned from a great trip to Dresden, Germany, and Prague. Off course, during this our visit to both of these cities I couldn't resist to shop and enrich my wardrobe with some German en Czech items! One of my new babies is this nice coat. I was craving for a beige trenhcoat with a dark brown piping. I've seen some girls wearing and saw it once in a perfume add, but I couldn't find it in stores or online! So frustrating! And then, we ran into this gorgeous coat at Promod, in Prague. And it was on sale too! I could'nt be happier!

Do you like it? How was your Christmas? Some post with my Christmas looks will follow soon!

Love, P.

Shopping with Grazia

Sequined Top| Vila
Scarf | Pieces
Padded Jacket | Vila
Skirt | Vero Moda
Red Treggings | Pieces
Snake Dress | H&M

Shopping with Grazia means shopping at the nicest shops with the best prices. You've all seen the add in Grazia with a 20% discount on your purchases only today at Vila, Vero Moda, Only and Pieces. So by reading my favourite magazine, I got discount at my favourite shops! You'll understand, I couldn't resist... So this afternoon, after some well thought research for which items I loved best, I grabbed my Grazia and went downtown. Luckily my fav items were still available in my sizes, which resulted in returning home with huge bags full of clothes... And  offcourse I couldn't resist to drop by at H&M and other shops...

Above, you find my buys from today. Well, some of them. :) I couldn't find them all on the net, so I'll show the rest by some outfitposts which will come up more often. Tell me, a bag with all these items, that's not horrible to bring home, right?

Outfit: Leather dress

Dress, Cardy, Jewellery and Clutch| H&M
Boots| Bronx (via Bijenkorf)
Glasses| RayBan

Leather items are really my favourite this fall. This (fake) leather dress I bought on sale at H&M last year. I've never worn it because I thougt it was a kind of a kinky dress: all leather and short... But I rediscovered it last weekend. Combined with the red cardy and the golden jewellery is did became a fashiable outfit, nothing trashy.

Do you like it?

Tell me, which one do you like?

Outfit: Sleeveless Jacket

Photos Krijke
Sleeveless Jacket| G-star
Top| H&M
Pants| H&M
Shoes| Le Ballon
Ring| Bijoux Brigitte
Watch| Albert Cuyp Market

Sleeveless Jacket. This season the sleeveless jacket has made it's return. Tough it is obvious that fashion is recycling, I never thought I would wear a sleeveless jacket again. It reminds me of the good-old denim years where everyone was wearing a good (high-waisted) jeans, with a denim blouse ánd a denim jacket or denim sleeveless jacket. Don't get me wrong, I may have worn it, but I'm not saying that I'm still loving it. But I'm always blown away by the fact how over time, such dusty items as an sleeveless jacket are evolving into fashion.

Actually, with this outfit I was a bit recycling aswell. The sleeveless jacket was a gift from a friend, dhe didn't like it anymore, and the (faux) leather pants and top are from last years summer. So, I throw these items together, and it became a fashionable outfit which is totally meeting the fashion-standards for the upcoming fall: a sleeveless jacket and leather.

Unfortunately, my colorfull outfit this weekend didn't work out. I'm still trying, will show you!

For now, enjoy your weekend! What are your plans?

Love, P.

Packing for the weekend

This weekend my boyfriend and I visiting his parents in Germany. The live near Winterberg, which is on a 2,5hr drive from Nijmegen. Of course on this short trip I need some fashion-reading, so I pakced Grazia (which I still didn't finish after a week), Glamour and Elle's Stijlbijbel. Can't wait to get loads of inspiration from it! Today I received my new iPhone cover, a lovely brownish snake-skin cover. I bought it on http://www.iphonecircus.nl/. They offer really cool and different covers, for a really nice price and provide you a great service. So it's worth to take a look!
Besides that, I decided to practice already with my really colorfull outfits, so I'm trying a purple and orange combination. If the sun comes out, I always have a pair of simple, femine black shorts, and for more cold evenings my favorite leopard scarf. Last but not least, we also bougt a gift for my boyfriends parents, they deserve it! With this, I'm ready to go! While you are reading this, we've probably just arrived. I'll tell you more after the weekend!

Enjoy!

Love, P.

Outfit: Tough Red 08092011

Red Jacket| Borrowed from my cousin
Dress, worn as a top| Vila
Skinny| Pieces
Shoes| Skooz
Glasses| RayBan

Red totally is my color lately. After my red shorts again this weekend, I found this gorgeous red faux-leather jacket in my cousin's closet. She let me borrow it, couldn't be happier! I love how red really brightens up your outfit, and make ik more tough. And a tough outfit, asks for a tough environment for pictures!
Whilst wearing it more, I'm getting more comfortable with bright colors instead. Up next, I'm really trying some huge colorfull outfits. If I've found the best one, I'll show it to you!

I wore it this outfit wednesday on an day of fun with my boyfriend. We had an appointment with dr. Fish for a nice foottreatment!

While I'm writing this, it is already weekend! I'm spending the weekend in Germany, where the parents of my boyfriend live. The weatherforecasts are great, so I can't wait!

What are your plans?

Outfit 04092011: Red Shorts

Photos; Krijke

Short, Blouse, Sandals| H&M
Clutch| Pieces
Necklace| Hema
Watch| Albert Cuyp Market
Glasses| RayBan

Finally the sun came out this weekend. Time for shorts again! I wanted to take these red babies out again, because of the disappointing weather I haven't wore them a lot. I combined those high-waisted femine shorts with a tough oversized boyfriend-shirt. As I told you before, I like to combine tough items with real femine items, to give it more of an edge. To finish this outfit I choose for more color and wore blue sandals and a blue clutch. And after my latest orange post, I now realize that with this outfit I've shown my love for my country again. :)

This weekend I had a lot fun with exercising in the sun, a lovely dinner with wine in the sun and a bit of shopping on my lazy sunday. How was your weekend?

Love, P.

This spring and summer we've seen a lot of color blocking. I really loved the brightness you can give your outfit with these colors, let's be honest, always that black is getting kind of boring don't you think? So gladly, also for this years fall, colors are still an important part of fashion! In my closet you'll find a lot white, black and nude colors, and I've enriched my wardrobe last season with some red, green and blue. But there is one color that I'm still not wearing a lot, but is seen a lot on the catwalks and on the street lately: orange! Honestly, I was only wearing this when the Dutch soccer team is playing in the World or European Championships. But why? It's so beautiful and edgy and gives you a lot of opportunities to make your basic outfit sparkle! And it's really nice to combine with other colors as darkblue and purple!

During some online shopping for new orange beauties, I wanted to share these with you. I've put them all together, which made it even harder for me to choose... Which items do you like best?

Event: Grazia's Behind the Catwalk workshop

Event: Grazia's Behind the Catwalk workshop

Friday I entered Grazia's Behind the Catwalk Workshop with Cara Schiffelers (Fashion Director Grazia), Peter Stigter (Catwalk Photographer) and Hilmar Mulder (Chief-editor Grazia). Down here some impressions!

Pictures above are taken by my and Lucy de Boer.

Cara, Peter and Hilmar told the 13 participants everything about the catwalkshows, and shared some juicy details. It was a really nice workshop, because of the intimate setting, we were all able to ask our questions which made it real interactive! Afterwards, we proceeded our conversations and stories at the restaurant Dudok. With a nice glass of bubbles I got to talk to the other girls. There I met Lucy, writress of the blog Lovely by Lucy. Lucy also recently started her blog, so we could share some experiences! Whilst drinking some nice bubbles I also got to talk with Cara and Hilmar. They are both so nice! I'm really glad I've got a chance to meet them and ask my questions about the fashion industry and my wanderings of how to enter this though world. Though I don't have any fashion-education right now, Cara convinced me that the eduaction of fashion-stylist which I want to start for a long time now, is actually a good one and that I shouldn't hesitate anymore! So I've made my decision, at the end of this year I will start with a training in Image Styling!
After a lovely dinner, the auction of some of Peters work started. There was raised a lot of money (over €5.500!) which all went to the KNGF, a seeing-eye dog fund. The photos auctioned were all so beautiful and if there will be an auction of Peter Stigters work again, I will save up and make sure one of these beauties will go home with me! If you want more information, check Peter's website: http://www.peterstigteraandemuur.nl/.

It turned to be a great day, I met a lot of inspiring people, had a lot of fun and got confirmed that I should pursue my dream of a career in the fashion industry. For more pictures, check Lucy's blog.

So, now I'm getting ready for the next Grazia event: Grazia's PC Catwalk Fashionshow! Who will I meet next weekend in Amsterdam?

Enjoy your weekend!

Outfit: Grazia's Behind the Catwalk Workshop

Outfit: Grazia's Behind the Catwalk Workshop

Yesterday I attended Grazia's Behind the Catwalk Workshop. A report from this nice event will follow later this weekend. First, I'd show you my outfit for that day.

Transparent blouse, pants and blazer| H&M
Shoes| LeBallon
Bag|Unknown, bought in Italy
Necklace, nailpolish|Hema
Watch, ring| Albert Cuyp Market

I was doubting between my nude pumps and these red ones. After a lot of changing I decided that these red pumps make the outfit more edgy. The green pants is one of my latests captures. I think it just perfect for the upcoming fall. And to be honest, I'm glad we've seen a lot of green on the catwalk lately, because I'm really in love with this color!

Stay tuned this weekend for a report of the whole event!

Enjoy your weekend!
