This spring and summer we've seen a lot of color blocking. I really loved the brightness you can give your outfit with these colors, let's be honest, always that black is getting kind of boring don't you think? So gladly, also for this years fall, colors are still an important part of fashion! In my closet you'll find a lot white, black and nude colors, and I've enriched my wardrobe last season with some red, green and blue. But there is one color that I'm still not wearing a lot, but is seen a lot on the catwalks and on the street lately: orange! Honestly, I was only wearing this when the Dutch soccer team is playing in the World or European Championships. But why? It's so beautiful and edgy and gives you a lot of opportunities to make your basic outfit sparkle! And it's really nice to combine with other colors as darkblue and purple!

During some online shopping for new orange beauties, I wanted to share these with you. I've put them all together, which made it even harder for me to choose... Which items do you like best?

Love, P.

Event: Grazia's Behind the Catwalk workshop

Event: Grazia's Behind the Catwalk workshop

Friday I entered Grazia's Behind the Catwalk Workshop with Cara Schiffelers (Fashion Director Grazia), Peter Stigter (Catwalk Photographer) and Hilmar Mulder (Chief-editor Grazia). Down here some impressions!

Pictures above are taken by my and Lucy de Boer.

Cara, Peter and Hilmar told the 13 participants everything about the catwalkshows, and shared some juicy details. It was a really nice workshop, because of the intimate setting, we were all able to ask our questions which made it real interactive! Afterwards, we proceeded our conversations and stories at the restaurant Dudok. With a nice glass of bubbles I got to talk to the other girls. There I met Lucy, writress of the blog Lovely by Lucy. Lucy also recently started her blog, so we could share some experiences! Whilst drinking some nice bubbles I also got to talk with Cara and Hilmar. They are both so nice! I'm really glad I've got a chance to meet them and ask my questions about the fashion industry and my wanderings of how to enter this though world. Though I don't have any fashion-education right now, Cara convinced me that the eduaction of fashion-stylist which I want to start for a long time now, is actually a good one and that I shouldn't hesitate anymore! So I've made my decision, at the end of this year I will start with a training in Image Styling!
After a lovely dinner, the auction of some of Peters work started. There was raised a lot of money (over €5.500!) which all went to the KNGF, a seeing-eye dog fund. The photos auctioned were all so beautiful and if there will be an auction of Peter Stigters work again, I will save up and make sure one of these beauties will go home with me! If you want more information, check Peter's website: http://www.peterstigteraandemuur.nl/.

It turned to be a great day, I met a lot of inspiring people, had a lot of fun and got confirmed that I should pursue my dream of a career in the fashion industry. For more pictures, check Lucy's blog.

So, now I'm getting ready for the next Grazia event: Grazia's PC Catwalk Fashionshow! Who will I meet next weekend in Amsterdam?

Enjoy your weekend!

Love, P.

Outfit: Grazia's Behind the Catwalk Workshop

Outfit: Grazia's Behind the Catwalk Workshop

Yesterday I attended Grazia's Behind the Catwalk Workshop. A report from this nice event will follow later this weekend. First, I'd show you my outfit for that day.

Transparent blouse, pants and blazer| H&M
Shoes| LeBallon

Necklace, nailpolish|Hema
Watch, ring| Albert Cuyp Market

I was doubting between my nude pumps and these red ones. After a lot of changing I decided that these red pumps make the outfit more edgy. The green pants is one of my latests captures. I think it just perfect for the upcoming fall. And to be honest, I'm glad we've seen a lot of green on the catwalk lately, because I'm really in love with this color!

Stay tuned this weekend for a report of the whole event!

Enjoy your weekend!

I read about this workshop in Grazia and it sounds really interesting! Catwalkphotographer Peter Stigter and Grazia’s fashion director Cara Schiffelers wil tell us all about the world behind the scenes of International Fashion Weeks! Afterwards we will end the evening with a nice dinner. I'm really looking forward to it. Of course, pictures and an update will follow!

Are any of you bloggers also coming to Arnhem this Friday?

Enjoy your Friday!

Outfit: Dressed a Maxi-Skirt

Outfit: Dressed a Maxi-Skirt

Here again an outfitpost. This week finally the sun is coming out. So instead of always wearing kind of a jacket outside, I could enjoy the sun in just a top! I wore it on a black Maxidress, so it looked like a skirt. The top actually is quiet long, so I binded it up to make it shorter. Therefore it also made me look taller, which I always try to acchieve, because I'm only 1m69 and this day I didn't want to wear heels!

Maxidress, Top, shoes, bag and scarf| all H&M,
Sunnies| Rayban,
Bracelets| Unknown, vintage,
Necklace| Bijoux Brigitte.

What do you think of this style?

Enjoy your Friday!

Lovely leather

Lovely Leather

I just can't get enough of the leather-trend. Last season I updated my wardrobe with some leather skirts, dresses and pants. But I'm still not satisfied. Online fashion-shops are providing all different items in different colors of leather, the one even more prettier then the other! So, after liking a LOT of these on Fashiolista, I decided to create a little wishlist with only leather items! Especially those nude colored blazer and pants, offered by Zalando, are to die for!
